extruded from a mixed heavy duty polyethylene compound
with surfaces sufficiently antistatic that they will not produce static
charges on separation, yet sufficiently resistive as to prevent
instantaneous discharge of or acceptance of a charge. They produce
neither static charges, nor sparks. The migratory chemical impregnated
within the resin before extrusion causes this powerful antistat to 'bloom'
to surfaces continually over many year, renewing the noncorrosive
surface layer so that the antistatic property lasts as long as the plastic
itself. The antistatic bag meets the requirements of military spec.
